Oqaatsut is a small settlement to the north of Ilulissat where you can see the life of people who live beyond the reach of roads.
After leaving Ilulissat in the morning, we will head north to along the coastline until we reach Rodebay where Oqatsut is located. We will disembark and then have time to explore the village. With around 30 people, Oqaatsut is a typical Greenlandic settlement, served only by the small harbour, life here is remote and simple. After wandering around the settlement, we will have hot drinks and snacks before heading back to Ilulissat.
